About Pedro Mego M.D
Pedro Mego, MD, FSCAI is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist completely dedicated to the management of Peripheral Artery Disease and Chronic Venous Diseases. He is an Endovascular Diplomate by the American Board of Vascular Medicine. Dr. Mego specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular and venous diseases. He is an expert in the Rio Grande Valley and has been practicing in the region since 2005.
Pedro Mego, MD, FSCAI received his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos School of Medicine in Peru. He completed residency training in internal medicine at New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital Center. Dr. Mego continued his education with a cardiology fellowship at Montreal Heart Institute and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Dr. Salomon is progressing toward certification by the American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM). With a strong background in internal medicine and a keen interest in cardiovascular disease prevention, he is deeply committed to enhancing cardiovascular health and managing complex vascular conditions. His extensive experience with diverse populations fuels his passion for delivering exceptional care and improving patient outcomes.
About Iryna Mytykyuk, FNP-BC
Iryna Mykytyuk Mego is a Nurse Practitioner based in McAllen, Texas. Born in Ukraine, she is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Spanish. Iryna brings eight years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with specialized expertise in Peripheral Arterial Disease, Carotid Artery Disease, and Venous Insufficiency. She began her healthcare career in 2006, gaining experience across various settings, including telemetry in hospitals, as a supervising nurse in nursing homes, director of nursing in home health, and as a supervising nurse in cardiology, neurology, and family practice offices.
Iryna started her nursing education in Keene, Texas, and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at the University of Turabo in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. She brings extensive practical knowledge and experience to her specialty, making her a valuable resource for her patients and community.


About Leah Par, APRN-CNP, AGPCNP-BC
Leah Par earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Adventist University of the Philippines and later pursued her Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. She has over seven years of experience in the North Texas Panhandle area, working in both long-term care and hospital settings. After relocating to South Texas, Ms. Par dedicated 17 years to PCCU and telemetry before advancing her career to become a Nurse Practitioner. She is now an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with three years of experience in long-term care, recently transitioning to a specialization in peripheral vascular care.
Dalia Cobos, CMC, CMCO, CMCA
Dalia Cobos is an accomplished healthcare administration professional with over 30 years of experience managing medical practices and clinics, specializing in compliance, medical billing, and clinical research. She holds multiple certifications, including Certified Medical Coder (CMC), Certified Medical Compliance Officer (CMCO), and Certified Medical Auditor (CMCA), all from the Practice Management Institute. Her career includes roles as a Practice Administrator and Compliance Officer for various medical practices and institutes, such as Valley Heart Consultants PA and Mission Vascular & Vein Institute. Dalia has expertise in accounts payable and receivable, QuickBooks, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, and medical transcription. Her extensive background in clinical research encompasses significant studies like DECLARE-TIMI 58 and PEGASUS-TIMI 54. Dalia’s strong leadership skills are evident through her experience managing teams, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across healthcare settings.
